How to connect Gemini to Wavnil

Get your configuration
In Wavnil, open Settings > Developers and select Gemini CLI. Wavnil shows the configuration with your own URL already filled in.

Add Wavnil to Gemini
Add this configuration to ~/.gemini/settings.json. Gemini CLI opens your browser to sign in to Wavnil the first time; /mcp auth wavnil signs you in again later:

The configuration copied from Wavnil already contains your URL; this example shows where it goes.

Sign in to Wavnil
The first time Gemini connects, it asks you to sign in to Wavnil and approve access. There is no API key to copy.

In the Gemini web app, personal accounts (18+, in the US) can add Wavnil under Settings > Connected apps > Custom apps: choose Add a custom app and paste the same URL. For Gemini CLI, the Wavnil extension installs the skill and the MCP server in one step:

Do I need an API key to connect Gemini?

No. Gemini signs in to Wavnil with your account. If you prefer, Settings > Developers also gives you a configuration that uses your API key instead.

Which Wavnil plans include Gemini?

All of them. The public API and the MCP server are included in every plan, from $24 a month, with a 7-day free trial.

Can Gemini publish without my approval?

Gemini creates, schedules or publishes posts when you ask it to. Everything it prepares appears in your Wavnil calendar, where you can edit, move or delete it before it goes out.

Can I connect more than one AI agent?

Yes. Connect as many agents as you like: they all work with the same Wavnil workspace, channels and calendar.
